Two FUN Christmas Banners!

Hi Guys!

Even though Thanksgiving isn't even here yet (my very pregnant self is sooooo craving Thanksgiving dinner) I've been crafting for Christmas and have two very fun banners to share.

I LOVE banners and buntings and garland and pennants.
I can't get enough of them.
To me they make me feel like a party is always going on.
They make me smile and make my heart happy.
So fun!

So here I am to share two new additions to our handmade Christmas decor!
First up is my fun take on November's My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin Up!
My Paper Pumpkin is a fun monthly kit that shows up on your door steps once a month full of goodies and a pre-planned project for you.
November's project wasn't to make a banner though! When I opened the box I instantly knew I would not be turning these beautiful papers, stamps and embellishments  into Christmas cards (their planned project for us).
I knew without a doubt that I wanted to turn this into a Christmas banner to enjoy year after year after year.
The kit included everything but the rhinestones, ribbon, buttons and eyelets.
With a little creativity here is a close up of what I came up with.
I'm in love with the little stars sewn together that did come in the kit. They are absolutely adorable!
Now, scroll down to enjoy a few too many pictures of this sweet banner :)

For the sake of photographing I hung it from my sewing desk shelves.
After Thanksgiving it will have a new home in our entry way.
Can't wait!

Now on to this little cutie!
She is so shiny and glittery and I'm in love with this one as well.
All I did to make this one was glitter a sheet of card stock and used my Silhouette to cut the letters out for me. I punched some holes and strung it up with Stampin' Up! cherry cobbler bakers twine.
In order to thicken up each letter I cut a second set of letters on non-glittered card stock and taped to the backs.

And as you can see my sewing desk shelves helped me display this one as well.
Come to think of it, I might need to make something or my sewing desk, too!

Happy Christmas Crafting!
What have you been up to?

I too love banners and pennants- they're probably one of my favorite things to make!
I especially love the glitter one-everything is better with glitter. :)

Sorry I have been MIA lately- I look forward to catching up with your blog!

So just how close are you to baby #6??
